A partly naked photo of fugitive director Roman Polanski and his late wife, Sharon Tate, sold for $11,250 at auction in the US.

The photograph was sold to an unnamed bidder by Christie's.

It shows Polanski and the tragic Tate in an embrace without clothes from the waist up. Tate, an actress, was murdered in 1969 when pregnant by followers of Charles Manson.

Polanski, meanwhile, is under house arrest in his Swiss chalet, the Milky Way, atop a mountainside in Switzerland. He spent more than two months in a Zurich jail after police arrested him at a film festival.

The Swiss authorities were reported weighing the extradition request of the United States for Polanski to return to Los Angeles and face 30-year-old charges.

Polanski has eluded American authorities for three decades. He faces charges of unlawful sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977.

THE SKINNY: Summit Entertainment has undeniably made a buck or two off of vampires lately, and to top things off they're teaming up with Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment to bring you the genuine article - Dracula.
The proposed film, titled VLAD, would be an action-oriented take on the life of a young Vlad III Dracula, the man who spawned the Dracula mythos.

While Brad Pitt's Plan B will be producing alongside Summit, the actor will not be starring in VLAD. The studios hope to "break new talent" with the film, similar to the way the TWILIGHT films have launched the careers of their stars.

Lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret is winding down its search for the next girl to strut her stuff down the runway.
Ten finalists have been battling it out since earlier this month for a spot in the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The show has already taken place, but the winning model will be edited into the lineup of Angels including Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Adriana Lima. The top two finalists, as voted by the public, are Kylie Bisutti, 19, and Jamie Lee Darley, 23. Both girls have previous modeling experience and hail from California.

Don't know who Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio is? Well, you should.
The 27-year-old Rhode Island DJ is one of the stars of Jersey Shore, MTV's new reality series about a group of self-described "guidos" and "guidettes" sharing a summer house together in Seaside Heights, N.J.

It was within just the first two episodes that one of Pauly D's biggest secrets was revealed when he and fellow housemate Jenni "JWoww" Farley were caught on film getting very cozy after a night of partying.

Okay, this makes me like her.

Its been a big year for superstar Lady Gaga. She loves her fans and wanted to share a Christmas song with all of you. If you head on over to Amazon you can download her latest holiday tune she put together alongside Space Cowboy entitled, Christmas Tree.

The outrageous and daring chica from New York City was picked as one of Barbara Walters 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009. During her interview, which airs tomorrow night at 10 pm, she will open up about her early years on stage. During one of her first performances she had to push the envelope in order for people to take notice.

“Well, the name of the club was The Bitter End, and I played there all the time, but I had been gone for a while and it was my first time playing my new glam-inspired music,” explained Gaga. “And nobody would be quiet. I walked into the room and before I even opened my mouth they were yelling and chatting and drinking and slamming their glasses, And I, I kept [saying], ‘Excuse me, hello,’ and nobody would stop. So, um, something just came over me and I, I took my clothes off.”

She does say though that she did not strip to her full birthday suit but she did end up in just a bra and panties. This behavior was quite a surprise for her parents who put her through Catholic high school.

Baby On the Way For Gary Busey



The new year will bring a new arrival for actor and reality star Gary Busey and girlfriend Steffanie Sampson – the couple has a baby on the way.

Busey's agent and longtime attorney, Vicki Roberts of Kismet Talent Agency, tells PEOPLE that his girlfriend is seven months pregnant with a boy they have named Luke.

"He feels awesome about it, he's excited and thrilled and can't wait," Roberts says.

Busey, 65, is already dad to a son, actor Jake Busey, and a daughter, Alectra, from previous relationships.

t's Alfre Woodard's daughter, Mavis Spencer! Mavis, 18, is a model and next year will be a student at Columbia University.

She was just named Miss Golden Globe 2010 and will assist in the awards ceremony January 17. Miss Golden Globe is traditionally a celebrity offspring. Past honorees have included Rumer Willis, Joely Fisher and Melanie Griffith.

Mavis' mom won a Golden Globe in 1997 for 'Miss Evers' Boys' and dad is writer-producer Roderick Spencer.

'Conveyor Belt of Love' is coming your way

ABC has ordered a new reality show from Endemol that serves up dates on a conveyor belt.

In "Conveyor Belt of Love," 30 men are rolled out before a panel of five women and given one minute to make a positive impression.

The show has been ordered as a special that will follow the season premiere of "The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love" on Jan. 4, but more episodes may be ordered depending on the special's performance.

Here's how the format works:

"If a woman is interested in someone, that man will step aside and wait as the rest of the men go by. But if another man comes by on the belt that seems better than that woman's first choice, she can swap out the man waiting off of the belt as many times as she wants until the last man has passed by. If two or more of the women are interested in the same man, the tables turn and the man on the conveyor belt gets to choose which one he would like to wait for. After all 30 men have made it through the 'Conveyor Belt of Love,' each woman is left with her final choice as they embark on a date in the hope of finding a true connection."

The series is produced by Endemol ("Big Brother," "Wipeout") and executive produced by Tom Shelly ("Dating in the Dark," "Survivor") and Alex Duda.

'Sex and the City 2' Poster Premiere

Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and the girls are getting ready to head back to the big screen for another round of NYC-set romantic adventures in 'Sex and the City 2,' and we've got the exclusive poster premiere to prove it.

And, although the plot of new movie is being more closely guarded than the Female Fab Four's collection of Manolos (that's right, my girlfriend told me what Manolos are), judging by the poster, Carrie's future is so bright she's gotta wear shades. Miley Cyrus is remaking Poison frontman Bret Michaels's '80s rock ballad: "Every Rose Has Its Thorn."

"'Every Rose' is one of her all-time favorite songs and she is really excited about cutting it," Miley's mom Tish Cyrus says.

Miley, 17, might be young but her love for Poison runs deep. Her first concert experience – other than seeing dad Billy Ray Cyrus onstage – was watching the band perform in Nashville. And now she’s been in the studio with Michaels – along with other producers – putting her own spin on the '80s ballad. She recorded the song in New York, her rep confirms.

And rumor is that Michaels might even dust off his blue rose guitar to play on the track.

Producer/Writer Dave Stewart, released a preview of the Wonder Girls' upcoming US track, "Always without me," as well as a quick behind the scenes of their photoshoot. Having someone like Dave Stewart is pretty big news - after all, this guy has written for huge names like Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry and t.A.T.u.

Not sure if this will be the next song that will be promoted here in the states, but I'm in love with it! It's so elegant, classy and will really showcase their vocals. I have a really good feeling about this track and it seems to have major potential.
